А, ну раз из Латвии, вам надо будет в Хоум Оффисе регистрироваться, когда работу найдете. Сейчас очень ужесточились проверки.

The Government is introducing a new workers registration scheme for individuals from the new EU member states.
From 1 May Nationals from Poland, Lithuania, Estonia, Latvia, Slovenia, Slovakia, Hungary and the Czech Republic who find a job in the United Kingdom are required to apply to register with the Home Office under the new worker registration scheme as soon as they find work. Those from Malta and Cyprus and those who are self-employed are not however required to obtain a workers registration certificate. The workers registration certificate will be issued for 12 months and confirms that an individual can work and reside in the UK while they are working in that particular job. If they change jobs before they have worked for 12 months, the certificate will lapse and they will have to renew their registration. Once they have completed 12 months work they may apply for an EEA residence permit. Employers must check that the worker has registered, as it will be unlawful for them to employ a National of the new member state (who has not worked here legally for 12 months) if they are not registered for the job they are doing. It should be noted that no applications for registration can be made before 1 May, and there will inevitably be some delay. For full details of the process, see the Home Office Immigration and Nationality website at www.ind.homeoffice.gov.uk |
